Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions and call local emergency services for urgent symptoms.

Family care information: family links, caregiver and elder relationship status, permissions, aliases, invite codes, dynamic QR token status, family sharing status, and family member identifiers needed to show authorized views.
Voice reminders: microphone recordings created for family voice medication reminders, upload/download URLs, local cached voice files, and storage metadata.

3. How we use information
We use information to:
Create, authenticate, protect, and maintain your account;
Show today's medication tasks, record completion, schedule reminders, and support offline sync where available;
Record and display blood pressure, heart rate, blood glucose, medication history, weekly summaries, and PDF reports;
Enable approved caregivers and elders to view or manage authorized family data according to permissions;
Send push notifications for reminders, family prompts, abnormal reading alerts, and weekly summaries;
Store and deliver family voice reminders that you record or authorize;
Process PRO subscription status, family PRO sharing, and purchase-related support;
Provide home screen widget data on supported devices;
Respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and improve security and reliability;
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Family sharing and authorized access
Zellia is built for family care coordination. If you create or approve a family link, authorized family members may see information such as medication tasks, vitals, reminders, weekly summaries, and account aliases according to the permissions granted in the app. Some caregiver actions, such as recording a family voice reminder or managing medication plans, may affect what the elder sees or hears. You should only invite or approve people you trust.
5. Microphone, camera, notifications, and widgets
Microphone: used only when you record a family voice reminder. Recordings may be uploaded to our object storage so the elder's device can download and play them.
Camera: used for scanning dynamic family QR codes. We do not use camera access for advertising or unrelated tracking.
Notifications: used for medication reminders, family prompts, abnormal health reading alerts, and weekly summaries. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.
Widgets: home screen widgets may cache limited medication and vitals snapshot data locally on your device so information can be displayed outside the main app.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your health records, medication data, or voice recordings. We share information only as needed for the Service:
Authorized family members: data is shared with caregivers or elders you connect with, according to approved family permissions.
Infrastructure providers: hosting, database, Redis cache, object storage, and related infrastructure used to run the backend.
Cloudflare R2: stores family voice reminder files and weekly summary snapshots where configured.
Firebase / Google services: Firebase Authentication and Firebase Cloud Messaging support sign-in, custom tokens, push notifications, and device token handling.
RevenueCat and Google Play: process and validate subscription entitlements, purchase events, and PRO access. Payment details are handled by Google Play and other store providers where available.
OAuth providers: Google or Microsoft may process information when you choose their sign-in methods.
Legal and safety: we may disclose information when required by law, court order, valid legal process, or to protect users, our systems, or the public.
Business transfers: information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection consistent with this policy.
7. Data safety summary
For Google Play Data safety purposes, Zellia may collect and process personal information, authentication information, health and fitness information, audio files, app activity, app information and performance data, device identifiers, and purchase/subscription information. Collection is used for app functionality, account management, security, analytics and diagnostics, customer support, and payment/subscription management. We do not use health data or voice recordings for third-party advertising.
8. Data retention
We retain account, family, medication, vitals, subscription, device token, and voice reminder data while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Some cache data may be stored in Redis or on your device to improve performance. Weekly summaries or report snapshots may be stored as frozen records to support historical review. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data as described in our Account & Data Deletion page, subject to backup, security, legal, and payment record retention needs.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport where supported, authentication controls, permission checks for family access, production secret validation, and restricted access to backend systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Zellia cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You can:
